A little about me...
I grew up in suburban Connecticut on a diet of comic books, horror movies, and punk rock music. At 18, I left my hometown for the Big City (Boston) to pursue filmmaking at Emerson College. Against all odds, I successfully graduated and moved to Los Angeles. In Tinseltown, I began my professional film career interning for one of my directing heroes, Sam Raimi. Sam was a big inspiration on me. His stories of his early days inspired me to form a filmmaking collective called Tomorrow's Brightest Minds. This led to directing music videos for artists such as Death Cab For Cutie, the Dandy Warhols, Bad Religion, Chromeo, and Har Mar Superstar. After that, I went on to direct award-winning commercials for clients such as Adidas, Ray Ban, ESPN, McDonald's, Google, G4 TV, Johnnie Walker, Comcast, and Toyota. My ad work has won Clios, One Show awards, and tons of other shiny statues with cutesy names. My short films have played in prestigious festivals such as Telluride, Leeds, and Fantastic Fest. Recently, I directed the 'M' segment in Drafthouse Films upcoming ABCs OF DEATH 2 (2014). Aside from all that, I spend my time developing feature film projects, DJ-ing in my basement, and poisoning the mind of my son, Max.
